HEQ5Pro Upgrades?

I've just bought a second hand HEQ5Pro with the Skyscan hand controller, V2.04. I believe it's possible to upgrade the firmware; any comments/ feedback on benefits. Who supplies?
Where do you get a southern Hemisphere reticle for the polar scope?

Merlin - is the following page helpful?

http://www.skywatchertelescope.net/Support.html

Have a look near the center of the page: "HEQ5/EQ6 SkyScan"

Cheers
Chris

im pretty sure that only version 3 onwards is upgrading via downloading patches off the net. but i did read in a review of the HEQ5 pro on this website that
"The software that came with the mount was version 2.5 that did not have a good selection of stars for the Southern Hemisphere i.e. no Canopus?!?!?!?!?!?. I sent the handset back to Tasco for the chip to be re-programmed to version 2.5a [a for Australia?], this imputs a far greater selection of stars"
As for upgrading the polar scope, i was advised not to bother with it. Polar alignment can be achieved via drift aligning easily enough.
