Eta Carina Dark Sky - Starred vs Starless

It always amazes me how many stars you see in Dark Sky images of Eta Carina. Compare the version with stars to the starless version. Here I used my all spectrum modified sony A7R to capture an RGB image. 120x60s subs giving 2h total.

Good for you Kanga, give it a go mate.

All the software and hardware we have at our disposal is...well...pretty much infinite.

Be brave, step outside the square.

Fundamental is: 'show us what is out there'.

Hi Peter,
Yes the range of software available for astrophotography is truly amazing. Thank heavens for starnet++. In this case I think I prefer the starless version.
Cheers Kanga
