Skyguider pole alignment trouble

Hi all,

Last night I tried imaging with my 450D and 70-200 lens. It worked well last weekend at home but now I’m under much better skies and the mount loses alignment the moment I turn the RA around and attach the load.
I realigned 5 times and it was out every time. I tried aligning without load, so I can see the reticule as I can’t turn the mount with the load.
However it looks like the pole scope is not straight as during rotation I can see the star field moving in a non circular fashion.
Any idea what’s going on?
I can’t even get 30sec with round stars. It’s a real shame as I happen to be in bortle 2 territory and signal is amazing.

Look forward to a hint in the right direction.
PS: haven’t got my polemaster with me and liked the no laptop setup.
