Has any one used these connectors?

Has anyone used the Moonlite truss connectors in a scope? If so how do they perform?

Thanx

Funny that you posted this at this time I'm ordering some right now! One thing is for sure they make telescope building that little easyer. You don't have to work out the angle for the holes in the truss blocks!

Exactly what I was thinking Ed. Now to save the readies as they are not cheap but so simple it will be worth the expense.

Rod ends would also solve the angle issue - just bolt them on. (NB: I have no idea how much they cost or whether they're already used in truss Dobs.) Plastic ones might be cheap.

Rob - these are what the binoscope that you saw at SPSP uses. Both the builder (Paul) and Mark Suchting specify these when anyone asks their ATM advice in reference to a complex truss system like that for a bino. They are utterly repeatable, and locate exactly the same time after time according to Mark. I'm ordering a set very soon for my own bino.

Cheers
Chris

I think so, if not I'll find a way to modify them.
