Welcome Fabio!

Welcome to cyberplocos (Fabio Carvahlo), a planetary imager from Brazil. Some may know him from CN or other groups.

He has been doing amazing work with a ToUcam and just has recently upgraded to a DMK21AF04. He's getting a filter wheel tomorrow!

I'm really looking forward to seeing his images. His work is definitely up there with the best!

Welcome to IIS, Fabio! I hope you enjoy it here.

Many thanks all!

it´s very good "to talk" with people who see the same sky that I! My favourite hobby in astronomy is observe planetary nebulas... I´m absolutely fascinated by them! I was reading some posts and I´m very happy with the message by Barb, saying that he had found the MyCN-18! I tried observe it some times with my 10" but I never had success... The most exotic object that I observed it was the ESO 172-7, the Boomerang Nebula in Centaurus. This protoplanetary is very interesting and nice to see, even with telescopes with less than 8". It seems like the Homunculus Nebula, but much more faint and without color. For who does not know:

http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap030220.html

currently I´m following the Henize catalogue of planetary nebulas and it has many of them in Norma, Vela, Carina, Centaurus, Puppis and Canis Majoris. If others also like to observe these faint bubble nebulas, keeping in contact!

best regards,
Fabio
