Carina fake SHO

Taken over many nights using both the Skywatcher ed72 for wide areas and TSOptics 130 Photoline APO for the main area. Using the Optolong L-Extreme and Astropixel processor to combine all the different focal lengths and extracting Ha and O3 and also the HaO3 in mono for the Sulphur channel. These were then combined using APP into HSO to produce the colours then into Photoshop for furrther prosessing.
ZWO ASIAIR and ZWO 294mc Pro to capture.
Overall time is a combination of 5 minute and 10 minute exposures 7 hours in total.
Melbourne Australia Bortle 6-7

Looks good and overall a pleasing image - except for some funky star shapes?

Undersampled stars I didn't drizzle the image the ed72 and .85 reducer undersamples badly, I also have focus tilt which needs adjustment, hopefully next session that will be improved.

Nik,
That’s a really nice Carina, plenty of detail and depth
Excellent framing
I particularly like the Gabriela Mistral region
Well done !!
Glad someone’s getting some clear skies, it’s been an eternity on the east coast of NSW
Cheers

Thanks Martin I took whatever chance I took, it wasn't the best conditions as we are having burnoffs around Melbourne.
