Looking at the CSIRO Cape Grim CO2 data it seems not much has changed....

This brilliant video gives some compelling reasons as to why this remains the case.

The video is unrealistic because it uses real facts and can only frighten people into buying a v8 before its too late..an electric car cant replace my 1980 pick up truck...

I feel so bad I am going for a drive in my red car..not to do anything ...lucky I am the only human that has a car as a toy.

It would seem the first step would be to restrict engine size...folk forget the 850 cc mini and looking at the cars and people in them wouldnt a minii fill.most needs....the ingrained trend for Moms to drive the kids to school in a huge 4wd is crazy.

And really who needs 850 cc...500 cc is more than adequate for the city...as the video says use coal to produce electricity and aim for a more efficient use of fosil fuel..

The energy source that is not touched is drilling down to a place where your steam can be .made for free...

A great video Peter but I think the huge problem is there are those who wont believe the science ...in fact certain folk in the US think they would be better off without universities because science does not fit into their belief system... its not the CO 2 that is the problem it is the toxic stupidity of the far right.

Carbon capture back to fuel is a tempting way to go. You keep established industry and the wealthy happy and you limit the vehicle pollution to its first tank only.

Below is an old (2019) forbes article that states petrol needs to go to $4 a gallon to make it viable. Which is where we are today...

Yes, lots of short falls to keep the leaps of potential interesting... but I like the idea of just removing carbon, rather than more human interference options being touted...
