Sun Active Regions from Melbourne 26/2/2022

Again the clouds didn't leave til late in the day and the wind had also come up providing really ordinary seeing. The sun was really just a tale of two spots, AR2954 and AR2955. These first images were taken with the Lunt 40 and ASI224MC with a 2.5x barlow.

These ones were taken using a 6" SCT and an ASI224MC.

The last two were also taken with the 6"SCT and ASI224MC but with the addition of a 2.5x barlow. This was really pushing the seeing conditions to the limit.

Great result, Clare and Peter. The textured surface really pops.

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately we too have had clouds for the past two days and haven't seen the sun
