We had a brilliant day for Imaging here in Brisbane. So I took the opportunity to image this fantastic prominence on the North Eastern limb in the Hydrogen Alpha wavelength, with my Lunt 60 single stack telescope, ASI 290 camera and a 2x barlow .
This was Imaged between 01.42 and 14.02 UTC 19.-02-2022
Tremendous animation. It was a spectacular sight. We took images from just before 11:00 to 12:30 AEDT. It protruded a long way out from the surface at the start.
