Pencil Nebula

Hi all,

My first attempt of the Pencil Nebula with the L-Extreme filter. I kind of like the purplish background. Too much though? I've made additional efforts on bringing out details in the nebula by sharpening. I've also done denoising both in linear and non-linear phases. My workflow is getting longer, but hopefully worth the effort.

As usual, please feel free to comment.

Clear skies,
Stéphane

I was just studying this target this morning. Its a little to far for my ED80 with a FL of 510, but when I get my SCT back I will try to image it.

I personally really like what you have got.. I would be happy if I could get something like that. keep it up
