Pretty sure they had a precise sextant fix on the location from Shackleton's log, which he took with him when they abandoned ship. An amazing seamanship story, their survival and lifeboat journey through the southern Ocean. Hopefully there will be a full video taken of the Endurance, which seems to be resting upright on the sea floor.
