I noticed the most users ever online was 393 on the morning of 05-05-2006. Any one recall?

I was going to suggest that it was cloudy

but I noticed that I have some of my best Jupiter and Lunar images from that night... so that isn't it!

We should have reset that number but never got around to it. It's been close to passing it. On Jan 21 it was 391

It's ok. It'll give us something to aim for
