Neither do I, sadly, "voluntary" usually means it will likely be largely ineffective.

Yet another natural environment destined to be significantly tarnished by humans, not to mention made dangerous for us...we just don't seem to learn

Elon's recent absurd flipant dismissal, that low Earth orbit is a big space and it is no different to adding a few thousand more cars on the Earth, is alarming and doesn't bode well for any real mitigation solutions....for starters, not many cars travel at 8km/sec

I read that this morning.

I think it will require perserverence and a few letters to one's MP to raise awareness and apply pressure to SpaceX et al to reduce/eliminate reflections. At least now there is a coherent source of information that we can quote - it's a start.
