Sol 26 - 1 - 22

Hi All

I was pleased to see that the sun had come out of hiding this morning and checking GONG and SOHO, saw that there were still some large prominences around the limb, a few small spots and a new active area clearing the limb with several spots in the group. The area hasn't been numbered yet afaik but could be 2936 ?
Only did Ha with my crude set up but the seeing seemed quite good. Images are 400 / 2000 frames stacked in Registax and a little post processing.

85mm F10.5 PST Stage 1, ZWO290mc, EQ5 etc.

Cheers

Wow great shots with your setup Jeff. Your proms are particularly impressive with the details showing up well with enlargement. Congratulations and thanks for posting.

Jeff,
Well done mate!
Impressive results.
I’m sort of out of action due to Covid in my wife’s elderly parents.
Impacts on the whole family.

Thanks for the kind words, always enjoy seeing everyone else's images. Was just happy to have some clear skies again, coinciding with some activity on the limb and steady daytime seeing.
