I have waited a month for skies to clear over Sydney to try imaging JWST at its destination now at L2 1.5 million km away. It was easy, I got it at the first attempt last night taking 30x1 minute exposures using my C14. It was moving at 1.77 arcsec/minute with direction PA 298. This image from Astrometrica shows a tract and stack of 10 images. It was easy to see it on a single 1 minute exposure. Thanks to ephemeris from Unistellar I had it at the dead center of the field my SBIG 8300M camera almost exactly at the predicted position. The big telescope shines at 17.6V magnitude.
