Slick tripods

Anyone familiar with the old Slick brand of tripods? This is the same Japanese company as Slik (they changed the spelling of the brand from Slick to Slik in 1977, so this tripod is between 1963 and 1977). Mine is labelled "ITV Slick" and "Professional Design". Definitely seems to be a 4/3rds format tripod or even movie camera (maybe it was the Leyland Brothers )

Any info appreciated apart from what little I could glean from their website (http://www.slik.co.jp/slik_com/about_us.html) - yes, I have emailed the company.

This was a road-side find in Canberra, in superb condition and I have added a dovetail puck to the head plate already using the existing screw). It sure is beefy, and the leg spread makes for a VERY sturdy mount.
