Good one! Nicely designed site too.

The jet stream graphic is excellent, however there's no info about what time of day the 'date' tab is set for (is it 0hr UT, AEST midnight or what?)

Also I couldn't work out what time interval is involved in operating the 'nudge forward/backward' buttons. Anyone got any ideas?

Couldn't see a contact e-mail anywhere on the Metcheck site to ask.

Just a question about the jetstream itself from a beginner ... is it the low-speed or high-speed stream that's best for observing?

The "no" jetstream is best The higher speed the winds, the (likely) worse seeing you'll get.

As far as I can see there's only the one image of current jetstream and that's at top-left on the weatherzone 7-day weather map images page???

Yes, worked it out ... they're one-day intervals.

I have been using this free program that loads up every time your computer is switched on, you only need to set it up once with your coordinates and it displays weather conditions for 4 days, plus has a great speaking feature that sounds like Stephen Hawking saying your local weather. I've been comparing the forecast's to what's actually happening outside and so far it has proved to be quite an accurate little tool.
