So ... what are you watching

Given the extended time in lockdown ... more for some. Just wondering if you are engrossed in a particular TV series at the moment. May be you are a Stranger Things fan or maybe a Foundation fan.

So ... are you watching anything interesting.

Please this is a light hearted thread ... no sermon on the mount about the evils of TV.

Yep I'm with Col, none of this reality junk, or American crime stuff, it is so over the top and unrealistic.

So it is usually the ABC and the British, stuff with a bit of documentary thrown in when able.

Foundation. And ashamed to admit it - Squid Game.
I also check in on the live volcano stream from the Canary Islands, magnificent - now going for 18th day. Best volcano eruption in a long time.

Don't apologize for Squid Games .. It has a huge following and the YouTube Promo looked good although some people think the end needed explaining.

Foundation was touted as being as big as GoT's ... wonder if it lives up to this hype.

Just finished white lotus…weirdly excellent, a flavor of Woody Allen if that appeals.

Just finished the Inspiration 4 documentary…was enjoyable, avoid if you don’t like USA feel good.

In the middle of Ted Lasoo…excellent! Surprised as I am generally of the opinion that there is a big vacuum in truely funny comedy series (aka fools n horses etc)

Almost done…Big Bang theory, funny, but tired and repeated. Watch with the kids so has an upside.

Just started…Foundation, wife is a big sci fi fan. Usually provides me with ice in space time while I “watch along” but this one seems interesting. And the visuals are spectacular compared with usual tv sci fi series.

Looking forward to…Succession.

Don't watch TV much and no streaming either. Just Bluray and DVDs. Been watching the latest Picard lately.

Foundation. Love it.

Wife and teenage daughter loved Squid Game. I was repulsed after 2 episodes and simply read the outcome on Wikipedia without having to endure the show itself

Ok thx for the referral GoT is EPIC and in need of something to follow it in terms of grandness.

One thing I watched with the boys last night was the movie "The Intouchables", a drama, available on Stan .... I'd seen it before, but found it well worth a re-watch.

Best

Foundation is underwhelming so far - I never got round to reading the books so not coming into it with any biases.

Squid game is excellent.
Sex Education is enjoyable.

MediaWatch , Mythbusters, Abandoned Engineering and Air crash investigations...

come to think of it there's a bit of a theme there....

*edit

Oh yeah and all the Aussie dashcam channels on youtube.....although they must be running out of material due to there being less traffic
(a lot of them contain the Cammer doing worse things than the alleged perpetrator)
