It's secondary mirror is bigger than the primary mirror of my 12" LX.

The price seems right, but hiring a jumbo to transport it here could be a little costly

Hmm.

$150 bucks for each IIS member and it is ours! Of course we would have to arrange shipping to Lostock....but we have a few folks moving about just need some room in a container.

OTA About the same size and weight of a full 44 gallon drum

thats a big chunk of scope to hold up.

That would work out at about 3.5 hours per year per member, that is not as bad as it first sounds

I don't think I would get my money's worth from here ! I've checked that site out before and wowed at the scope. Wouldn't it be nice to have that much spare cash lying around for a hobby.
