Annoying Audio Described TV Function

Hi Guys, the message that comes across the TV screen, "This program has been audio described for people with impaired vision" is there a way of turning it off.

It has been around for sometime as we probably all know, however over the last two days it has become audible and is just so annoying.

I know if you have a vision problem it could be helpful, but if you don't it sounds like one is watching Play School.

Constantly it relates to what is happening, like "Bill is now walking down the road and stops to look at the cows" " he then meets up with Jane" then the program continuous and once again, "Bill looks very worried as he approaches the house" Jane is inside sitting on the chair"

It just goes on and on, I have tried with the settings however cant seem to find what I am looking for.

Can anyone please suggest something that might fix this, it has only just happened over the last couple of days.

Thanks. Leon

Haha. What brand of telly mate?
On our new Samsung you push and hold the volume button and it will take you to an audio menu.
It’s very easy to sit on the remote and have it do wonderful yet hard to reverse shenanigans.
Try looking in settings-audio

I accidentally dropped the remote and that feature turned on with my Samsung Smart TV and I put up with it for a week and a half and failed to find where to turn it off. I eventually googled it and there was a you tube video of hoe to turn it off! Relief!

Greg.
