As a Monty Python fan, I can't un see the beast from the Holy Grail movie here amongst the crazy mix of pockmarked bubbles & gases in the Small Magellenic Cloud!
It is of course NGC 292 & friends, in Ha & O3, shot under a full moon while testing my ridiculously expensive new Tak TOA-35 0.7 reducer, which finally arrived from Japan, after 3-4 months patiently waiting.
I'll have another go at this when the moon wanes and I get my focuser issues sorted out.
When I screwed on the new reducer I couldn't bring it to focus with my Tak CAA/rotator in place, so I'm having a shorter end cap adapter made by to suit by Stefan Buda.
The stars are almost round in all the corners first time out too, so a small spacing tweak to fine tune that, and I'll finally have the perfect dream scope I thought I was purchasing a year ago!
Only 5 hrs data, but here it is on
ASTROBIN anyway.
