Don't image the Moon ... you might infringe copyright!

Philip Bloom's problem with a Facebook post detailed here:

I read somewhere that you cannot photograph the earth from space but never thought the other way around was enforced. Where does that leave us for the planets and deepsky. It's a universal litigation in the making.
PS: oh well it's AI. Makes sense. Doesn't know It from clay. Nothing's new. Either way H0ughy's going to jail.

The AI did well.

I had a look at the moon shot. It's pretty obvious it is a deepfake.

To defeat the pattern recognition and ensuing copyrights issues one only needs to photoshop E.T. on his bike on the moon disc. Easy.

There's more to this story.
Search deep fake Ai vs Stanley Kubrick on ticktok to get the truth.

When Kubrick was asked by NASA to direct the deepfake Apollo moon landings, he was still under contract to MGM.

Universal Pictures, the parent company to UMG and the major stock holder in NASA got their nose out of joint and vowed to get even, and at the same time taking out a Universal patent on the moon.

Years later, after Stanley Kubrick released Eyes Wide Shut, Universal used a deep fake Tom Cruise to get into Kubrick's bedroom and leave the obligatory 'horsehead' in his bed.

I fear for Philip Bloom...
Hope he doesn't use Ai sharpening in any of his videos...
