That's some serious shivers... scary... especially in such a short time frame of evolution.

From the looks you'd load over 1200+ in a c-17 for a drop depending on the configurations.

Wow Gary, I never thought that I would see that degree of sophistication, agility and behavioural complexity in my lifetime. Quite astonishing.

Cheers

Loved watching the epic fails and the recovery/re-build ops.

Cheers

I image it wouldn't be too difficult to program them to recharge themselves when required and given enough development, probably even do some basic self diagnosis and repairs...? ...A Terminator is not that far away really

I would really begin to worry when they wrestle control of the manufacturing, distribution and assembly of the component parts that make them up.

I might get one as a set up and collimating assistant.

Cheers

The plans for that one are pretty scary for the unskilled workforce.

I plan on buying a personal one. Make it commute each day on the train
to the factory. Take its pay packet when it comes home and then ask why it is
late making dinner.

Then plan to open a WD-40 bar outside the factory. Grab the income from
other personal robots.

Man, flash back to an old girlfriend reading that one...

But seriously, even if it takes him 15 years, 1 in 9 people rely on money from overseas workers being sent home. Like the world ain't changing enough for some of the developing countries.

If "IT" can pour a drink, do the dishes and put out the trash, then the overseas workers might not be the only ones needing to worry.
