NGC300 Lum

Exciting!

As the data is coming in I just can't wait.

This is what I have gathered so far in Luminance (30 X 300s).

All the other filters (RGB, Ha, O3), work in progress

It is truly amazing what we can 'see' now...

Interesting to see the OII showing up. How do you plan to blend it with the RGB?

I had a go at this object a few years ago - it doesn't have a lot of surface brightness. Your ZWO is doing a good job considering the integration you have so far.

Hi Pete.
Lots of integration time works for me.
However, to find out how much O3 was there, I cheated and used a 16" CDK at itelescopes.
Lots there!
So I have put my scope to task just on O3, but is slow going...

Ha is there also, but very feint.

Adding the O3 and Ha to LRGB can be done a few ways (Pixinsight).
There is a script for this purpose that works most of the time.
If not it's down to pixel math (tedious).

I also have a mountain of OSC data taken last year.
To combine that is going to be a challenge.

Have to enjoy the journey
