Jupiter and Saturn 7.8.21

I took the opportunity last night to have another go at the gas giants, although cloud hampered the session once again. Consequently. data was thin as I rushed get enough video to complete the session before the region was engulphed by cloud. This time I did LRGB imaging with the ZWO 120MMs and 5X Powermate using the 8" Newt. I must say, the little 120 beats the DSLR hands down for resolution using the same rig to shoot through.

Seeing was average to good but I only got 40 secs of data with the Blue filter on Saturn before clouds ended the night. Fortunately, it was enough to add colour to the image so I'm reasonably pleased with the results.
