How do you make a movie?

I took this photo the other night along with three others in succession. When I clicked between the photos, I noticed the stars moving. I thought this might make a pretty spectacular movie if I took a couple of hour worth of photos 5 minutes apart, and then put them in a program of some sort to make a short movie. Any ideas how to do this?

Is it simple, because my understanding of software is simple......

Baz.

you can always put the pics in Windows movie maker (assuming you do use windows ) You can set the time interval between pics and duration aswell. Or were you thinking of a GIF animation, if so there are quite a few programs that will let you do this just google it.

Hey Baz, try Advanced GIF Animator.
http://www.gif-animator.com/
It was recomended to me and I've had a ball with it. Simple to use as well. The unregistered version leaves a logo on your movie, but if you like the program, register and no logo.
