Mount Suggstions

Our local group UNENTAS uses a C14 on it's original fork mount. It is owned by UNE. To say that it is not very user friendly is a bit of an understatement. It is hard to use with one person as it is very difficult to look through the finder and reach the RA lock at the same time. This makes aiming it a bit of a challenge.
The uni has no money but it would be nice to put a case to them for an upgrade.
What I was thinking was to keep the OTA but put it on a goto mount. We have a very solid pier and a dome with plently of room in it.
What are suggestions for a mount? Would a EQ6 hold the OTA?
What other options are there when money is very limited?
Cheers

C14 OTA weighs around 22kg. This limits your options for a really cheap mount. Perhaps look around for a second hand CGE or G11. I think the EQ6 capacity is 25kg so it may do the trick for visual use. Would be rather inadequate for photography as I'd expect the tracking will be pushed. The CGE and G11 are ~30kg.

By the sounds of things, anything is better than what you've currently got.
