First Light ASI 533 MCPro

This Horse Head and Flame Nebula represents four firsts for me!

They are:

1. First Light ASI 533 MC pro
2. First Use of L-Enhance Filter
3. First Ever Image processed in Pixinsight by me
4. First guided image with my Star Adventurer Pro without any spikes

It is 35 x 180sec on a star adventurer Pro guided with and ED72 @ 0.85x

Thanks Nick. I was drooling over your latest horse when I was taking this image. Honestly how good are these ASI ZWO cameras! Really good to see exceptional images coming from latest tech inexpensive mounts and cameras. Opens up this Hobby to so many more enthusiasts with high quality images.

Agreed mate, for me the asiair was he game changer, no need to faff about with three star align and hoping it goes to target. I can sit inside the house and acquire images. Much better experience all round. Astrophotogrpahy has come a long way!

Exactly! 10 years ago I was running an ed80 on eq6 with ATIK 6000 ($6k for the cam alone) in an OBS.

I reckon I'm getting better images on a non goto mount with a cam worth $1.3k through a smaller aperture scope ! And much easier tracking.
