SPSP - directions?

The ASNSW website seems to have lost its driving directions. I'm staying at the Ryder Homestead, so I know how to get there, but I can't remember how to get from there to Wiruna.

Help please!

Drive along the Lithgow-Mugee road from Lithgow, until you come to the little village of Ilford about 60km before Mudgee (Don't blink, you might miss it). At Ilford turn left onto the Sofala Road. Drive for about 5+ km until you come to a rest area on the left. Just after this is the Tara Loop road (Gravel). (Ignore another Tara loop road before you get to the rest area.) Turn left onto this. Drive as far as a fork in the road (1 or 2 km), take the right fork. The site is a few hundred metres further on. There are usually signs up from Ilford onwards--street name size-- saying SPSP.

Thanks, Geoff.

Couldn't remember if I had to go as far as Ilford or not.

I'm staying at Ryder too.

Coming from Wattle Flat you will be headed towards Ilford but Tara Loop Road on the right hand side is reasonably easy to see..in the daytime.

Thanks. Look forward to seeing you there. My wife and I are staying in the Blue Gum cabin.
