NGC300 Ha and O3

Moving into NB has been a humungous learning curve.

This image started out with the OSC (about 5 hours of RGB).

Then I switched to a mono camera with a filter wheel (I got these a few weeks ago).

I then added about 2 hours of Ha (the red bits).

Last night added about 2 hours of O3 (the blue bits).

The sky is clear at the mome, so next is the Lum.

So having FUN!

Advice is always welcome.

Coming along nicely Peter for a dim object, glad to hear you have clear skies down south. It may be my monitor but it looks a bit purple to me, says he who is reluctant to step into the NB world and find it intimidating, all that extra work in processing.

After adding the blue, things all went a bit purple :-)

Anyways it is looking really clear at the mome, same as last night then it rained...

It's coming along nicely. That is a bucketload of data, I have never spent that much time on a single object as I am always keen to capture the next target. As your image shows if you want the detail on faint objects the more data the better.
