is it me but I am finding I have to load the pages several times

the site just doesnt seem to want to load properly? I have to try several times to get it to work, even upload?

No problems here, h0ughy. Occasionally the site loading is a bit slow, but that happens on other sites as well, so I've put it down to 'Web congestion'. I'm using MS XP Pro and Firefox 2.0.0.3 with a 256/64K ADSL (Bigpond) connection.

i had problem getting the extra smiley thingies page to open. had to click on it three or four times before it stayed open.

It happens sometimes Houghy. Sometimes certain ISP's will be slower than others, depending on which backbone they're using. If you wait, it'll probably get better, like it usually does.

P.S. Use Firefox. Your internet life will be better.
