Congratulations on a fantastic purchase Rowena! That's the same as my scope. I am DEEPLY and TRULY in love with my LX200! Not a session goes by that I don't find out something new that it can do. Keep reading that instruction manual, and trialling things, you'll be amazed what it is capable of!

Clear skies for the long weekend!

Rod

Hi Rowena, Congrats on the 'new' LX200. If I may, "white with 2 sugars please"! You will now be directed to set-up at the far end of the carpark, along with all the other LX's. L.
ps. see you Sunday at Hill 60 for partial eclipse?????

Wow,

I was eyeing off that unit of strikers, merely in the hypothetical sense, when he advertised it, however I soon hope to be in the possesion of an GS 880 (price to Tassy $500) which, given my wifes reaction to this purchase, shall have to do me for at least 3 years or maybe 30!

When the children are finished at private school I might follow suit though and join the LX 200 brigade.

See you in a decade (at least)

Enjoy your new equipment and no doubt we will all be seeing the fruits of this posted on the forum soon.:

welcome to the LXclub. Now you will be looking to put in an observatory because you get back strain from lifting it around.
