Hahaha yeah that last one is referred to as the Mineshaft. Damn steep. Most cars where slowing down for it but one flogged it over and landed half way down the other side. The jump in the second shot was heaps more fun as the drivers where hitting it at top speed and getting major air. I was amazed how close some of the photographers were getting. All it would talk is a sudden puncture for the car to lose control and they would be taken out.

Great shots, very scary when your a passenger in the Zero car checking out each leg of the race before the field hits it.

you want a SCARY rally photo!

This was taken at last years suburu rally in canberra. (woulda went this year but timing was bad)

The car was 1.5 to 2meters off the ground and it ended landing on its front bumper bar, everyone thought the car was going to flip, driver was taken to hospital but no serious injury though, thankfully. This was taken on the hill that is rohan's 4th photo to get some perspective!

yeap the navigator in that car was commentating at this years event and was constantly on about how they launched off the jump the previous year then had to park the car around the next corner cos the driver screwed his back on the landing.

rohan,
yeah it was pretty bad. After that happened the organisers then waved down all the cars coming through to slow down.

last year, as canberra was recovering from the bushfires, you could see the cars travelling round the tracks for km's away.
Has any of the bush regrown back this year??
