I want to finish my eyepiece and filter collection, so here goes:
My 10” f5 newt on an HEQ5 is up for grabs. I built it myself out of the best bits I could get my hands on, and it works beautifully! The scope comes with:
- 10 F5 Skywatcher primary (fan cooled)
- Vixen secondary, spider and rings (painted to match pier)
- 10:1 GSO Crayford focuser
- Telrad (with dew shield)
- HEQ5 Mount with std power pack (I’m keeping the one in the photo)
- a Starspanner pier (brilliant!!!!)
- Original flimsy tripod too.
Everything is in fantastic condition except the tube which has a few extra holes drilled in it and a small ding here and there – I have changed every single underperforming bit after all!

Add a hundred bucks and I’ll throw in a Moonfish 40mm 80 degree eyepiece and a GSO barlow.
