Lazy astronomer

Hi All just finish my first remote access to my telescope from inside my home, I could get used to this way of astronomy

Good for you Ian, but mate you need to get out amongst it and feel the frost on your face, or something like that.
Then i am from the old school.

+1 for that!


I REFUSE to automate a single thing - no auto-focus, no remote anythiing. Also helps cutting down cable junk too (I have seen some people's setups where there are more cables than telescope). I relish sitting out under the stars, even when I am imaging, just letting it run but being near it and ALWAYS looking up.

It was for her laptop actually, but YEAH.... I have resolved that eventuality in the new home build
