Glenc put john in touch with me last week and I went out to his property tonight,30 acres with a great south sky , very few if any people for 20kms .pity about the moon but it was still pretty dark all the same.
Looked through johns 114 mm reflector and my 250 mm .
started with some bright stars and a few constellations
orion ,gemini ,leo ,virgo ,centaurus,crux.
had a look at doubles in the above
M42/43, 3372,2070,coalsack
jewelbox,2516
omega centauri
leo triplet ,m104 ,m83,5128,4038/39
couple in virgo but time was running out as we both had to do
things early tommorow.. done by 9.45
