The big spider Tarantula and M80 Cluster

Hi Guys again,

here's the Tarantula and the mini M80 cluster from the past past night. Info below:

Tarantula:
5 x 5 minutes at ISO800
5 x 2 minutes 30sec at ISO 800
5 x 1 minute at ISO 800

M80:
9 x 2 minute 20 sec at ISO 800

Equipment was:
Celestron C10 F4.7 with Canon 350D unmodded
Autoguided ED80 + Meade DSI II
Baader MPCC, UHC-S Filter

processed with Deepskystacker and photoshop cs2 using layered mask with the tarantula so the core dont burn out. Darks/Flats subtracted in both.

Cheers

I like the tarantula best Eric! Lovely work. The large scale shot of M80 seems to show some artifacts or "chunky mottling" that's just a bit distracting on my monitor... maybe just stretched the histogram a bit much? Easy fixed I think by just lifting the black point a tad, or a little change in gamma/curves. But still great work!

Al.
