Retina Nebula

A rendition of the Retina nebula (IC4406).

My retina seems to have come out a bit different to other versions.
Perhaps I have over sharpened the data. There is a very high dynamic range in this object that I have compressed.

This is a LRGB version. I will proceed with utilising the Ha O3 data now.

The Classical Cassegrain has a 4.7metre focal length and this gives a field of view of only 26arcmin x 26 arcmin at 0.39 arcsec/pixel unbinned.

It's pretty small, but I don't really know why there aren't many images of this one, perhaps imaging with a webcam type of camera, like for a planet might give better results?
