Monoceros nebular complex

Hi everyone, the processing of old data keeps going on and I happy to post this time a mosaic of two panels of an area rich in objects in the Monoceros, just north of the Rosetta image posted a few days ago.

Monoceros Nebular complex

Also in this case the telescope used was the TEC140 with the PL16803, covering of about 4 degrees on the largest side of the mosaic.

The best known objects in the field are the Cone nebula, FoxFur, the Hubble variable and the Dreyer reflection nebula (IC2169). This area is really rich in colors with open clusters, emission nebulae, reflection nebulae and dark nebulae, in practice it contains everything a deepsky photographer could wish for

In total I collected almost 29 hours of exposure with 5 filters (HaLRGB), to attempt to render the glory of this piece of sky.

The full size image is accessible clicking the link above although it may take some time to download given the large size of the file.

Hope you will enjoy this one

Looks wonderful Marco.
Lovely rich colours and pin point stars.

But I would to ditch the text boxes.
They do detract from the viewing experience.

Cheers,
Jeff

A very rich field with your trademark processing. I agree the large labels simply obstruct the view.
