First post, first pic ...
Hi all!
Just want to share my first ever astrophoto (albeit after my third attempt at processing) - " Tarantula nebula and surrounds". Hope you enjoy .
http://www.pbase.com/gailmarc/image/75147453
You can see the full scale version by selecting "original" at the bottom of the page (2.3M). The stars are as much a feature of this image as the nebula and worth a closer look.
Cheers,
Marcus

Wow what a great first image, well done.
How are you finding the TOA 150/EM400 setup?

Hi and welcome Marcus. Like Mike, an hour ago Pbase timed out for me also, however this time I tried again and despite the page taking around 1 full minute or slightly longer, it did make it this time and the image is stunning. I'm sure you will be happy in this forum

Great setup and image Marcus.
it's hard for me to look at that setup.
I just had to cancel my order for the TOA150 67 flattener on AP900 mount with the STL11000M for personal reasons.....dam
