Mounts have arrived

Hi All,

Don't know if anyone else has ordered and mounts from Peter Ward in Sydney, but I have it on good authority that they have arrived in Australia, Monday, (yesterday).

And he informed me that my G11 is on It's way to me tomorrow, cant wait, now there will be some learning to do.

Cheers Leon

Suggest you talk to Zane at Magellan observatory - he mentioned Peter got him one and it was flawed - and it took months of disputes to get it resolved and by the time Peter agreed there was a problem it was out of warranty!

Don't know if this was an abnomally - but it tells me get an acceptance test figured out from those in the know to check yours in fine!

Anyone else heard of problems (other than poorly balanced gear causing motor burnouts on the G11 - comments of another ex Losmandy user on IIS who recommended the Vixen Atlux over the G11)?

That's all well and good Ken, but it's not here yet, Peter said it was going to be sent tomorrow, but who knows when it will be at my door.

I will try to get to the camp Ken, if all goes well, at least i can make a couple of trips to and frow, as it is just up the road.

Cheers Leon
