Moon on a wire!

while out comet shooting on jan 21st, I used the youngish moon as a focusing aid, with my then new f1.4 50mm with 350D. I am so impressed with this lens (yes you may say i sound like someone who has got their first decent lens ever for a dslr - and you are correct!)
I thought i would show it as maybe an example, almost test of said lens.
here's the pic, iso 100 1 sec exp. @ f1.8 and from jpg only - a crop to show closer view of moon included. i havent had a go at trying this lens on terrestial subjects much yet - so this will do.
the CA is bad in crop, but stopped down a further few stops the mind boggles!!
