Refining processing. M42

With the weather and other stuff I decided to do a reprocess of all the M42 data. In this reprocess I was able to bring out the four little stars you want..this is again using Registar to combine data from different scopes..I dropped anything that was not a real good sub..drizzled3x if that helped..but I had to put it up and see how it looks here..they always seem so different to the way I remember them when I post them..

Yes, interesting result Alex. The Trap is visible but I think you have sacrificed the rest of the nebula to define it. It's good to experiment with different methods of processing and reveal detail that was hidden in previous images.

Alex you succeeded in defining the trap, but like Mick said you've had to sacrifice elsewhere. However, you can always do a composite and combine different parts of both and see how that looks. The good thing is there's no right or wrong. Keep experimenting and keep having fun!
