10th March Jup from the West

Had pretty good conditions over here this morning, a cold 13c with no dew and the occasional light breeze flowing through the driveway Started about 3.00am checking collimation, things looked positive with hardly any turbulence present in the star test images which allowed a slightly defocused star to be used. Got a little disappointed with the screen capture scene after locking Jupiter in , only fleeting glimpses of surface detail. Decided to wait until 5.30 to make some runs, by then it was looking better. Bit of detail in the final image displayed here , the top RGB Jup I went a bit harder with processing using images plus and PS. Think I might go ahead and get a 3x televue barlow to get some scale

Well done Stuart, I like them a lot. The individual channels look nice and clean.

Nice images, Stuart. Like the animation too. It's inspired me to try one.
