It amazed me how far it travelled so quickly, I thought it would have taken longer. It's the next leg now that will take the longest.
I really puts in into perspective just how vast the solar system is.

At the end of the journey, we should have some amazing images of Pluto and a better understanding of this planet.

Yep, they already have a great pic of Plutos new-found Moons! Pluto has 3 recorded Moons now.

In that image of Pluto, the largest moon of Charon, seems almost as large as the planet itself, well somewhere around 80% perhaps as great. It might be argued that is a companion in a binary affair as distinctly different in a planet/moon relationship.

I think one of the most fascinating areas will in the Kuiper belt, I am realy looking forward to the images sent back from there.

They already classify Pluto as a 'Double Planet'
Charon is a Moon to me.
