Man sends wife away on train and ships kids to the granny farm

How lucky am I , my wife had to go an a school camp today until friday , so i sent her on her way on the morning train ------and then shipped the kids off to Nan's for the remainder of the week .
two completely free family nights. But the god punishes doesnt he, predictions of storms and showers until friday

lots of scope testing tonight, my top plate for the scope is in, just need to fit it. I now have new weights (now enough to mount the scope) and all I will have a play with the new setup. Must remember to go to work too

I do it the other way Houghy..I pack up the tent and scope then head bush!..cause I ain't lucky enough to have both the wife and kids leave at the same time for more than a few hours!!
Hope the scope testing works out for you and the weather holds out for an extended test period under the stars!!

lol h0ughy, 2 days as a bachelor! Live it up while you can. Don't forget to clean the house before she gets home

Pity about the clouds and rain though.

I had Saturday night to myself (kids were in bed and wife was out), but then the massive storm came through and the kids woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep until 10:30pm! argh!

Hi Houghy, it sounds like Murphy's law in action again.
Hope the skies clear for you.

Cheers

I am not sure if you are bragging or complaining about the situation ...

I hope you get done what you need to get done during your bachelor time!

HOughy, you are giving marriage a bad reputation!

It's not so much the fact that Nina goes away that I like, but what happens when she comes home...

I see what's gone wrong, you should have bought your top plate and weights a few weeks earlier let the bad weather pass and then ship the wife and kids off.
Enjoy a nice quiet house while it lasts Houghy .

Remember to eat at least once a day.

And wash every other day.
