Jupiter Feb 23 UT in Multispectral

Here is Jupiter from February 23 UT (Saturday morning, Feb 24).
The images show Jupiter in RGB, methane band (889 nm) and near IR.

Near the CM is STrD-1 and oval BA. BA is bright in the methane band image. Also visible in the RGB image and methane band images are two ovals, N1 and N2, in the northern hemisphere.

Interestingly, both the p and f ends of the STrD-1 are visible in methane, , albeit dark, indicating that these structures are deeper than the surrounding cloud deck.

Gee Zac, those are great images and excellent graphical overlays. You should be a planetary scientist mate!

Cheers
