Eta carina a deep Ha shot with Berts lens

Hi all
Did 2x15 minute ISO400 7Nm Ha shots with Berts 300mm f2.8 lens, modded 350D, hand guided. Bigger version here

Doesn't that just look awesome.

Boy I am really starting to like HA images more then color...I thought I would never see the day I would say that.

Wonderful shot Scott. Did you take any shots of orion or di you leave that for another night. BTW photoncollector is a happy chappy at the moment too

Beautiful image Scott. That lens in your hands certainly comes up with the goods. As some wiser? person said we have to get you autoguiding!

a Losmandy G11 mount and a basic Sbig autoguider camera would go well, as my mount doesnt have motorised dec. so cant really be retrofitted up for autoguiding.
