Some images from sunday morning. The white light images show the region between the GRS and STrD-2. White ovals A4, A5 and A6 have been tracked for some time. Oval A6 has a reddish colour and is less well-defined than ovals A4 or A5.
The region of the SEBs between the GRS and STrD-2 contains at least 5 small red spots which should be useful for determining the rotation rate at this latittude. Hopefully they should persist long enough to get more images of them in the future.
The methane band images show the bright GRS. Methane-bright features are characteristic of elevated structures in the jovian atmosphere. The NEB, which appears as a single belt in white light (images at left) appears split. This is probably due to the appearance of the NTB as a methane-dark feature; in visible light, it is white and not vislble. As usual, the polar hoods are methane-bright.
