Anyone see the sky last Wednesday night on sunset?

Anyone see the sky last wednesday night? I don't know if it was just local conditions, but the sky was the most beautiful colour of blue, not the usual and the clouds had a warmth that is not normally there for sunset. Did I miss something, astronomically like a flare or was there a partial eclipse?

Anyone else?

Paul

A week ago? I can't remember 2 days ago!

I do remember last Friday morning though, Thursday was a really hot day and hot night, and the friday morning sunrise was amazing.. water was calm and clear, no wind, and enough high cloud to give the whole size a beautiful pinky orange glow.

I so wished I had my camera on me at the time..
